RevLog Terms of Service

Effective date: 11 August 2026

These terms govern your use of RevLog ("the app"), operated by Hard Deck Ltd ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales, company no. 17371224. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use RevLog.

What RevLog is

RevLog is a motorcycle maintenance tracking app. It lets you log service history, parts and fluids, mileage and hours, and set reminders for things like MOT, insurance, and road tax renewals. It's a record-keeping tool, not a mechanic — see "No mechanical advice" below.

Your account

You need an account to use RevLog. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for anything that happens under your account. You must be 13 or older (or the minimum age in your country) to create one. Let us know if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

Acceptable use

Use RevLog only for its intended purpose — tracking your own vehicle maintenance. You agree not to:

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

Your content

You own the maintenance data and photos you add to RevLog. By adding it, you give us permission to store, process, and display it back to you as part of running the app — see our Privacy Policy for how it's handled. We don't claim ownership of your content and won't use it for anything beyond providing and improving the app.

No mechanical advice

RevLog helps you keep records and reminders — it doesn't inspect your vehicle, verify its roadworthiness, or replace professional servicing, MOT testing, or manufacturer guidance. Due dates and reminders are calculated from the information you enter; they're only as accurate as that information, and RevLog isn't responsible for missed services, expired documents, or mechanical issues that result from relying on the app instead of professional advice.

Premium features

RevLog offers a free, ad-supported tier and a premium tier with additional features (such as tracking more than one bike and removing ads). Where premium is offered as a paid subscription through the App Store or Google Play, that purchase is billed, renewed, and cancelled through your Apple or Google account, and their respective terms apply to the transaction itself. We may also grant premium access manually at our discretion, including during early access. We can change what's included in each tier going forward, but we won't remove access you've already paid for without reasonable notice.

Availability

RevLog runs on third-party infrastructure (Firebase/Google Cloud) — see our status page for current service health. We aim to keep the app available but don't guarantee uninterrupted access, and we're not liable for outages caused by those underlying services.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

RevLog is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee the app will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hard Deck Ltd isn't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the app, including loss of data, loss of use, or costs arising from missed maintenance or expired documents. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be excluded under UK law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

Ending your use

You can stop using RevLog and delete your account at any time from Settings — see our Privacy Policy for what that removes. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, or discontinue the app or features within it, in which case we'll aim to give reasonable notice where practical.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated effective date; continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
